A production line for Long Fiber Glass Reinforced PP Compound has been commissioned at Valf Rus, Russia's largest pipe manufacturer.

Using a custom-developed process tailored for our customer, who requires high mechanical strength and minimal expansion, we utilized single-strand roving glass fiber. Produced from E-glass and designed to reinforce polypropylene in LFT (Long Fiber Thermoplastic) applications, the glass fiber with a silane binder achieved excellent results when compounded with PP material in a twin-screw extruder.

For flawless pipe production, we utilized Monomex-manufactured equipment throughout the entire compound line, including the raw material feeding system, gravimetric dosing system, twin-screw extruder, granulator, and packaging machines, all tailored to meet customer requirements.
