Machines are systems that enable the transformation of energy from one state to another and produce certain products for the benefit of humanity. In order to design a machine, first of all, what is expected from the machine, that is, the need, must be defined. Then, by creating a physical and mathematical model, the first foundations of the machine are laid on paper. During the establishment of these models, questions such as what kind of machine elements will be used, how the physical relations of these elements with each other will be formed, what materials and what production methods will be used will need to be answered.

Some ideas may seem utopian today when put on paper. However, it should not be forgotten that we have come to this day thanks to the implementation of designs that were considered imaginary and sometimes even despised in the past.
